Q: Dear Ron,

Some years ago I built a screen house. The overhead roofing was a corrugated plastic that came in different colors.I now wish to build another screenhouse and am having difficulty in locating a source that carries it.

A: Corrugated plastic panels are one of the easiest ways to build a roof that is water-tight yet allows light in.

These days, you can find panels in three materials: fiberglass, PVC and polycarbonate. They each have strength, cost, visibility and durability advantages. An Internet search under "corrugated plastic panels" will yield quite a few Web sites. Here are three:
